EVERY SWIPE COUNTS!

Help raise funds for our college without costing you a cent! Every time you use your MAKRO or MY SCHOOL card, which is linked to the school profile, it earns points and we raise money for the school. The Parents Association, with the input of parents and college headmasters, decide how the money is spent to the benefit of the school.

Swipe your MySchool Supporter Card at the following MySchool partners:  Woolworths, Engen QuickShops, Walton’s, kalahari.net, Jack’s Paint, Toys R Us, Reggie’s, Club Travel and SupaQuick to name just a few. They will donate a percentage of your spend to your school on your behalf.  There is no cost to you.

Motivate family and friends to join My School

• If your partner sometimes does the shopping, get him/her a My School card too. Help aunts, uncles grandparents and friends to get My school cards. The more swipes, the more the school earns.
• Web toolkit for link on Southdowns website
• Update your profile online
• Register once off on the MySchool website (http://www.myschool.co.za) so that you can view your transactions and profile. Do this by creating a username and password. When your account has been created an activation link will be sent to the e-mail address you entered. Note that you must activate the account by clicking on the activation link when you get the e-mail before you can login.
• Login and update your profile.
• Please check the following:
  • Beneficiary is Southdowns College
  • Accuracy of your e-mail address
  • Active cards linked to your profile. We are aware of some supporters that have multiple cards incorrectly linked. Please send them an e-mail to inform of cards incorrectly linked to your profile.
  • Consider permission request for communication regarding mails or sms – needs to be ticked to qualify for the Woolworths rewards programme. According to the Consumer Protection Act you will not be receiving spam mail if you agree to this specific communication.
  • Make a note in your diary to check your profile quarterly to increase our chances of winning.

• Partners donate between 0,75% and 2% of your purchase to MySchool, and in turn to Southdowns College.
• Please note that Woolworths contributes 1% of your spending, where kalahari.net contributes 4%. Please check out the Altech Netstar and Kalahari.net websites and support them as well.
